Network Offers for Buyers

Learn how to browse active supply on the platform, place a bid and negotiate terms directly with suppliers.

Updated this week

Introduction

Network Offers allow you to browse all active supply on the Matium platform, including Private Offers shared directly with you by one of your links and Public Offers shared by trusted suppliers with the entire Network.

Browse Active Supply

Visit Network Offers in the left sidebar. Narrow your search by filtering on the type of offer (All, Public or Private), the type of plastic being offered (Material Type) or the supplying company (Offered By). You can also filter by the location of the material when viewing just Public or Private Offers.

Responding to an Offer

Click on an individual offer to view all details including the material specifications, offer price, available weight and shipping terms, including location if the terms are set to Picked Up.

If you would like to bid on a Public Offer, click the Respond to Offer button in the top right corner. You will be prompted to provide your contact information, desired weight, price and destination location. The details of your bid will be shared privately with the supplier.

If you would like to bid on a Private Offer, you will see options to Accept, Counter or Decline in the top right corner. Click Accept to accept the offered weight and price. Click Counter to respond with a different weight or price point.

If you would like to request samples of the material, you can send a message to the supplier via Conversations.

Negotiating and Confirming Offers

Once the supplier receives your bid, they will be able to counter or confirm. Note that transactions are not considered final until accepted by the buyer and confirmed by the supplier. Once confirmed, all contact information for both buyer and supplier will be shared with the other party.

When responding to a Public Offer, you may be asked to fill out a credit application to facilitate payment between yourself and the supplier and to insure transactions on the platform.
