Updated over a week ago

Introduction

Orders in Matium Core are transactions that contain both supplier and receiver information at the time the order is placed. They contain details on the supplier, receiver, locations, terms for shipping along with a list of material items with weight, sale price and packaging for each.

While orders can be manually created, they are often created after identifying a match (buy, sell or trade opportunity) in Matium that you would like to act on. In this way, orders may be tied to haves, needs or inventory items being tracked in Matium.

Lifecycle

An Order in Matium will start with a status of Open. One or more Shipments should then be created to fulfill the Order. Once Shipments have been created for all items, the Order is given a status of Completed.

Orders may be marked as Cancelled as long as no shipments have been placed. Orders may not be deleted.
