Creating a Have

Build your market supply in Matium by creating Core Haves for specific lots of materials companies you do business with would like to sell.

Haves in Matium Core describe a specific lot of a specific material that is for sale, along with its owner, location, weight, pricing, packaging, and terms for shipping. Haves represent your market supply in Matium. Create a Have for each material lot a company would like to sell - and then let Matium help you find your best buy and trade opportunities!

Creating a Have

Select Have from the Create New (+) drop-down in the upper right corner.

Enter all relevant information and click Submit. You will then be taken to the detail page for the newly created Have.

New Have Form

Basic Information

Company - The owner of the have.

  • The drop-down will list all companies.

  • Click Add to create a new company.

Location - The location of the have.

  • The drop-down will list all locations for the selected company.

  • Click Add to create a new location for the selected company.

Incoterms - The terms of sale.

Expiration Date - The expiration date for the have.

Representatives - Enter all associates from your company involved with this have.

Tags - One or more keywords to help identify this have. Optional.

SO/PO Number - The sales or purchase order number. Optional.

Material Information

Material Type - The type of material.

Material - An existing or one-off spot material.

  • The drop-down will list all existing materials of the specified type.

  • Click the Add button to create a new material.

  • Select the New Spot option to create a one-off material for this have.

Offered Weight - The offered weight and units.

Price - Offered price per unit.

Packaging - The type of packaging.

  • If relevant, specify the piece count and if the material will be palletized.

Notes - Any relevant notes for this have. Optional.

Have Groups

If there are additional materials that will ship with this have, meaning this is part of a combo load, click the Add Grouped Have button to create additional Haves as part of a group.
