Updated over a week ago

Shipments in Matium Core will detail pickup and delivery details, freight information and a manifest of all goods being shipped and corresponding weights. Create a Shipment to fulfill an order in Matium and let Matium automate the rest of the shipping process for you.

Shipment Types

There are three shipment types within Matium: Inbound, Output and Trade.

Inbound

Inbound shipments add to your inventory. Your company will automatically be set as the receiver of the shipment. Inbound shipments will prompt you to create a new inventory item once the shipment is delivered.

Outbound

Outbound shipments decrease your inventory and are associated with sell orders of an inventory item. Your company will automatically be set as the supplier of the shipment in this case.

Trade

Trade shipments do not affect your inventory. They provide a way to track a shipment tied to an order you have brokered between two different companies.

Creating a Shipment

Select Shipment from the Create New (+) drop-down in the upper right corner.

Enter all relevant information and click Submit. You will then be taken to the detail page for the newly created Shipment.

Note: New Shipments may also be created by starting with an existing Order and adding a Shipment.
