Processing Inventory

Learn how to track the processing of inventory - taking one or more inputs and creating a new inventory item.

Updated over a week ago

Introduction

Process Reports track the creation of a new Inventory Item (output) from one or more existing Inventory Items (inputs).

Matium will automatically update your inventory lists to reflect how much of each item was used during processing and how much is still in stock. Matium will also generate a target price point for the new Inventory Item based on the cost of the inventory input(s), processing cost and final weight of the new item.

Creating a New Process Report

A new report can be created by going to the detail page for an existing Inventory Item and selecting New Process Report from the Actions menu.

You may also go to Processing in the left sidebar and click the New Process Report button.

Enter the location of the inventory, one or more inventory input(s), all relevant information about the output and the new Inventory Item that will be created.

Click Submit to create both the new Process Report and the new Inventory Item.

Warning: Once created, Process Reports may not be deleted.
