Managing Your My Company Profile

Learn how to manage your My Company profile which details internal information about your company.

Introduction

Your My Company profile allows you to detail information about your company including location and contact details, services you provide, materials you sell and profiles of materials you routinely need to buy.

Note: Your My Company profile is internal to your company tenant only.

Your company's Public Profile is managed separately. Administrators can go to the Public Profile tab under Administration to setup and enable your company's public profile and to make your company a part of the public Matium Network.

Managing Your My Company Profile

Click on the your company card at the top of the left sidebar to view or update your My Company profile.

Note: Your My Company profile is global, meaning all users in your company tenant can view and update it.

Profile

The Profile tab displays basic information about your company along with the materials and services you provide.

Company Logo

Click on the image to the left of your company name to upload an image of your company logo or to delete an existing logo.

Company Information

Click the Edit button to provide basic information about your company including:

  • Name

  • Legal Name

  • Services Provided - The high-level services your company provides.

  • Materials - The types of materials your company works with.

  • About

  • Website

Contacts

A list of all company contacts is shown. Click the Add button to add a new company contact, or Edit to modify an existing contact.

Contacts include the following fields:

  • Name

  • Contact Type - Shipping, Sales, Purchasing or Accounting.

  • Email

  • Mobile Number

  • Office Number

Note: Once a contact are added, it can not be removed.

Materials

Your company's materials list should include specific materials that your company typically has to sell. You can manually add materials by clicking the Add button. Note that materials will also automatically be added to your list as you create inventory items for your company, create inbound orders and shipments, etc.

Click on an item in the list to go to the detail page for the selected material. Click on the ellipsis menu to remove a material from your company's profile.

Buy Profile

Your company's buy profile should include material profiles your company typically needs to buy. Add material profiles by clicking the Add button.

Click on the ellipsis icon to either edit an existing buy profile or remove a buy profile.

Activity

The Activity tab shows recent activity for your company including inventory, needs, orders and shipments.

Locations

Locations should include all locations for your company and will be used when noting the location of an inventory item, the destination for an inbound shipment, etc.

Click the Add button to add a new location or the Edit link to edit an existing location.

Locations include the following fields:

  • Address

    • Start typing and select the address from the drop-down list.

    • Click the Edit Address button to manually edit an address. Note that latitude and longitude fields are required for accurate freight quotes and other location services within Matium.

  • Location Name

  • Phone Number

  • Shipping Requirements

  • Default Pickup Appointment - FCFS or Appointment Required.

  • Default Delivery Appointment - FCFS or Appointment Required.

  • Remit To - Toggle on to set this location as the remittance location for your company.

Note: Once a location is added, it can not be removed.

Members

The Members tab shows a list of all Matium users for your company tenant, including first name, last name, email and role(s) for each.

Note: Only Administrators may add, remove or update members. This is done by clicking on Administration in the left sidebar and then navigating to the Users tab.

Documents

The Documents tab will show a list of all documents related to your company. Click the Upload button to upload a new document.

History

The History tab will show a generated activity log for your company, displaying the user, timestamp and action taken.
