Managing Your Company's Public Profile

Learn how to set up your company's public profile so you're a part of the Matium Network when it goes live.

Introduction

Your company's public profile allows you to detail information about your company including website, locations, contacts, services you provide and materials that you work with. Your public profile can then be enabled which will make it visible on the Matium Network.

Note: You must have Admin permissions in order to access the Administration features listed here. Reach out to your company's tenant administrator for questions about permissions.

Creating Your Public Profile

Click on Administration in the left sidebar and then Public Profile to view or update your company's public profile.

The first time you visit, you will be able to select from two options:

  • Create from Scratch - Start with an empty profile and build out from scratch.

  • Import My Company - Copy your company's internal profile and use that as a starting point.

Updating Your Public Profile

Company Logo

Click on the image to the left of your company name to upload an image of your company logo or to delete an existing logo.

Company Information

Click the Edit button to provide basic information about your company including:

  • Name

  • Legal Name

  • Services Provided - The high-level services your company provides.

  • Materials - The types of materials your company works with.

  • About

  • Website

Contacts

A list of all company contacts is shown. Click the Add button to add a new company contact, or Edit to modify an existing contact.

Contacts include the following fields:

  • Name

  • Contact Type - Shipping, Sales, Purchasing or Accounting.

  • Email

  • Mobile Number

  • Office Number

Note: Once a contact are added, it can not be removed.

Locations

The Locations tab will show a list of all locations for your company.

Click the Add button to add a new location or the Edit link to edit an existing location.

Locations include the following fields:

  • Address

    • Start typing and select the address from the drop-down list.

    • Click the Edit Address button to manually edit an address. Note that latitude and longitude fields are required for accurate freight quotes and other location services within Matium.

  • Location Name

  • Phone Number

  • Shipping Requirements

  • Default Pickup Appointment - FCFS or Appointment Required.

  • Default Delivery Appointment - FCFS or Appointment Required.

  • Remit To - Toggle on to set this location as the remittance location for your company.

Enabling Your Public Profile

By default, your public profile will not be enabled.

Set the Enabled toggle to On to make your public profile visible in the Matium Network. This allows all Matium users to search for your company and view the high-level services and materials you provide along with contact and location information for your company.

Disabling Your Public Profile

Set the Enabled toggle to Off to disable your public profile. This means it will not be searchable on the Matium Network.
